It doesn't matter. Radeon will get beaten by GeForce and vice versa. The whole cat and mouse game repeats itself.

It's all a matter of opinion, but the cat-and-mouse game is one thing that really

    TICKS

    MANY PEOPLE

    OFF.

    $$$$.

They really should release cards every 1.5 years, instead of every .5-.75 yrs....

Geforce tends to get the faster frames - therefore it plays games faster, therefore it'll be able to play future releases faster then the Ati's, therefore it will have more longevity

That's it. I'm getting nVidia's NV30 once it hits the shelves. I'm tired of my ATi Radeon 9700 Pro. Actually, I upgraded to an ATi Radeon 9700 Pro from a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 a couple of weeks ago. I've already grown tired of both nVidia's 4200 and ATi's 9700. Money is simply not an issue to me. All I care about is speed and power. I want to build the best home computer in the world!!! One that no one has ever dreamed about!!! Hehehe...

    a) Thats impossible as the technology is constantly changing

    b) The rate at which you keep changing your coponents you wont have a chance to set up any files etc for long term usage

and there are already supercomputers out there that are hundereds of times faster than the fastest desktop system out there.

How can one become "tired" of an R300? If you are Tojo then give it to me!

As for me, I'm either going to NV35 when it comes out, or when games become to slow for me to play them. I'm an eye candy type of person who doesn't like playing without detail and quality settings high. Tojo simply can't see through that a system that can play any game without difficulty is GOOD ENOUGH!

FCOL tojo go buy an SGI!

Jakk you're right, Tojo has more money than sense, and those people are dangerous. And you'd have to upgrade HDDs, everything as the tech. comes out.. an impossible proposition.

nVidia doesn't compare, when it comes to AV

    so ATI all the way

it has all the convenice that nVidia can't even match

and the speed difference right now ATI is faster

but by the ATI has already come out with a newer card, and yet again with more features than nVidia

the AV/TV wannabe adapter nVidia tried to push out failed misserably

i see more people out there with a combo of nVidia + ATI tv adapters instead than nVidia + Personal Cinema adapter

    LOL

anyways ATI All In Wonder Rules!!!!
