    AOl logon speed slower

    Ugraded from 5.0 to 6.0 with Lucent technologies LT win modem.

    With 5.0 the connect speed is 48000 - 50000.
    With 6.0 the connect speed is 28800 max.

    Installed latest drivers in modem
    Verified connect speed is 56K.

    First you should check your speed on dsl reports website www.dslreports.com.
    Must times Aol doesnt display the right speed. Also the fastest you can ever connect is 53333. Thats all the FCC allows. But if you check and your speed is defintely slower go into expert setup and pick another modem. Aol doesnt always detect the right modem. Let me know
