PCWORLD say that NAV is the best there is. Can I ask you a question!? What is AVG?

AVG is a free antivirus program:

I personally like NAV. I use both the home and corporate versions. Very good support and frequent updates. They also have a lot of free tools for removing viruses.

How about Sophos - thats good AV product.

On the site I run we use a mixture of Mcafee 4.5.0 and 4.5.1

    It picks up everything

I know there have been a bunch of posts about this. I just cannot remember them that well. And since then NAV 2003 and McAfee 7.0 have came out. Like anyone would vote for McAfee.

I have just became concerned seeing that I had a trojan and a virus on both of my comps on the same day. Only the virus could be cleaned. It was the W32.HLLW.Hai. The backdoor.trojan had infected about 15-20 of my files already. Norton kept on coming up with Norton AV found backdoor.trojan. It would never go away so I could clean it. It always locked up the comp. So I ended up formatting and reinstalling.

I've got plenty of firewalls. I've got McAfee Firewall 3, the one on XP, and the one on my D-Link DI-704P router which I share my cable internet from.

    Norton, even though it's bloatware.

Much better than the more bloated Mcoffee virusland.
