I put my review of the sonicblue (aka s3 aka diamond multimedia) RioVolt portable CD/MP3/WMA player in the user reviews section. Hopefully sysopt will update the user reviews database soon.....

    Reccomend a good mp3 player?

    First, NOT THE SOFTWARE KIND
I am looking into a decent mp3 player--SOLID STATE (not the kind the plays the cd's). I want one I can use while I rollerblade.
Preferably under $150 with 32+ megs memory and upgradable with memory cards (smart media...?).
Any suggestions? I have been looking at mp3.com's hardware reviews and searching on ebay. Doesnt matter if I can see the name of the artist/song, would prefer a little unit
    Thanks!!

    Paul C.

PS: would also be interested in hearing people's experience with these units. Even the CD kind if you have used on (I know some have 120 sec skip protection, but that may not be enough while blading).
