    RivaTuner urgent queries

    Rivatuner questions...

    What is more stable, driver-level or low-level overclocking? On my GF4 Ti 4200, I have been able to achieve higher clockspeeds with low-level OC'ing. I would imagine low level OCing is better because
    1) direct calls are made to the hardware to offset the crystal divider;
    2) there are fewer potential stability problems and overhead that occur when going through driver layers.

    Some people have reported with GF cards that driver-level OCing doesn't work well for them. Not so with me.

    How is lower "generation accuracy" safer? Does it put more stress on the clock generator if you set it higher or what? Does an accuracy of "low" go hand-in-hand with the granularity (14.318MHz) and thus producer higher-quality signal?

    Electronica el confusado.

    Hardware level if anything caused a few more flickers - but bth seem good to me - as a pint of odd - inexplicable preference though i always use driver level o/c
