Dell Dimension XPS P133 w/ Intel 82430FX PCIset Footprint?
So i've got this old Dell Dimension box that recently died...seems like m/b failure, all components still seem to work when i threw them into my other machine but the old machine won't even attempt to boot. Anyway, i was thinking of dropping a new m/b in the old tower, but i was curious to know whether any m/b would fit into the old tower. So are the footprints of all m/b's relatively the same, especially the mounting holes, and how about the power supply, will my old Dell box provide enough for today's CPUs, etc.? (see link above for machine specifics on old machine) Here's a couple images of the board as well
Thanks,

The board has different backplane ports than a newer ATX box does. The power switch is most likely connected directly to the power supply. It's not worth the effort. A new case with PSU goes for about $30.
