windows cannot find files?do i dare shut it down?
win95 cant find msconfig.not in system?
win95 cant find RUNDLL32.exe. i did find it,dont load.only dll file in comp.

anyone know where i can find a replacement rundll32.exe file?

this is my main puter,the one in the other post is going to be my backup.i cant get my shotrcuts to work without it.still no luck finding it. i have the 95 cd and boot disk.puter cant find it anywhere.

no luck with downloads. is it a hidden file in win95?it shows up in find files,but i think other dll files are missing.

Wow sorry i didnt get back sooner...I have always made hidden files visible,,, I can't remember what is and isnt but it would make sense,,, They should be in your systems file.. can you find that? did you go to find and type *.dll
You cant run your software without em... dll is dynamic linking library,,, they are like books in a library all the software goes to ck out and borrow them instead of writing their own.
I dont have time now Im at work but if you do a net search for win95 tips...etc you might not find what you want but,, its worth a try, What makes you think your missing more? Did you just go into the drive and click delete on the folders where you wanted to get rid of the programs? Always use the add remove programs in the control panel it untangles the programs and leaves anything others might be using.. I have a big fat book on win 95 at home,,, (hey so big it must be good) I would be glad to look up anything for you... saturday afternoon,,, evening. stay cool dude,,, later

i found it hidden. it showed up in find files under dll.not under exe files.thanks.
