    easy question...i think

    sorry if this is a really stupid question but here goes anyway....

    is it possible to network an xp and an me machine straight to each other with cross-over cat5? it's the first time i've done networking outside of 98SE and 2000 so if there's any other issues that will save me time to know about, please tell me now so i do!!
