    Web Sites Controling Your Printer

Maybe I am still learning after 20+ years in Computers. I was at a web site and it decided that it wanted print things out to my printers. Has this happened to anyone else? Just Curious

    Never happened to me...weird.
I'd run a good virus scan about now, though.

Sounds like you have Netbus or Back Orifice. They're trojans which allow outside users to control your computer - even down to the CDROM drawer. It's funny at first if it starts opening and closing by itself, but it gets "old" real quick .

Visit http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/index.html and look up the info on these trojans, if this sounds like your situation.

    Jackal,

I had something like that at one point. I didn't think it was funny at all... S.O.B. stole my AOL password files.
