    u can always use the associate command in winfile (file manager)

    AllGamer, not forgetting shortcuts at this point (guess I did'nt mention it or even think of it) but either I'm not understanding and there is an program called "Unknown app" or Trouble needs to figure out what the correct program is??
    I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

    To change the association, you can right click and go into properties. But I don't know how you can associate a file with 'Unknown App'.

    it doesn't matter if it's Unknown to the OS

    as long as you know what it is

    then you can pair it up with the correct software

    so what's the file Extension are we talking about?
