That was old news, it's been way past that point now, look at the trend AMD is taking over Intel by a long leap

Well the stock use to be at 20.60 but is now at 3.63 see here.
The fact is that Intel spend more on advertising than AMD spend on research. So the the day AMD surpass Intel hell will freeze over!

A profits warning just means that the estimated profits the company expected to clear for the season has been revised to a new lower level.

It's nothing sinister, they just haven't sold as many chips as they expected.

the problem with Companies are their CEO, they always expect more, instead of looking at the real figures.

the only truth is that AMD is not as Rich as Intel is, until just recently

Intel can hold on to their braggin rights when it comes to the Stocks cus they have the money right there

AMD doesn't has that much cash in hand that's why they had to re-evaluate their stocks

it's like comparing Microsoft vs Corel Corp

It is fallout from Y2K. Everyone and their uncle upgraded in '98 and '99 and need to write it off for the next five years. Simple concept when you look at it that light.
