    A man is found dead at the bottom of a cliff-- dead, naked, and with a piece of straw in his hand.

    maybe he was snorkeling(sic) and was picked up by one of them firefighting airplanes that drop water on forest fires and was dumped somewhere??

    Ok I know !! He was in the back of a horse trailer getting amorous with one of the mares when she bucked and sent him flying out of the back of the trailer and over a cliff. The straw was the horses food.
