Are you using WinXP? I read that the drivers don't work in XP, but RCA is supposed to have drivers for XP coming out. I checked the date on the driver file, and it's 12 July 2001. I read a post somewhere dated 25 Nov 2001:
    http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=e...1.giganews.com

Supposed to be coming out "soon" but how soon is "soon?" Bug RCA about it.

If I am right...you do not add it as new hardware...go to "control panel" there is a folder named scanners and cameras.....add it there.

power down the pc...attach the camera and cable to the pc make sure the camera is powered then boot up pc. if win 98 fails to detect it goto control panel and select camera's.

Extract the files in the archive into a directory. If you have winzip, you can drag the file with your right mouse button and extract it to c:\cds6300.

When that screen pops up asking for the disk, point to the folder. It should work like that.

Well, shimano was saying he wanted photostudio 2000 so he can download his photos. Well that can't happen unless he gets his camera drivers loaded.

shimano, you can extract the files (using winzip) in the drivers file to a folder and then run the scanners and cameras control panel applet. When it asks for a disk, point to the folder with the extracted driver files.
