    I need a new PSU

I just upgraded my computer again, now with a xp2000 and msi gf ti4200. My generic 300 watt power supply has gone poopy on me. My 5 volt line is about 4.76, and my 12 is about 12.6. I get random crashes and hangs. What power supply would you guys/gals suggest I get? I'd like to spend $50 or less.

    Currently on my computer:
    MSI KT3 Ultra (kt333)
    xp2000
    MSI Ti4200
256 mb 2100 DDR @ 2700 (was stable before - not the problem)
    40 gb 5400 rpm Maxtor (saving $ for raid 0 )
    20x Acer burner
16x Lite On Dvd (currently disconnected to save PSU)
    Netgear NIC
    Soundblaster Audigy OEM
1 case fan (2 more to be added when I get new PSU - my temps are under 40 C with my Dr. Thermal HSF)

    Thanks

Yep, that Enermax PSU is nice... I've got that one running on my system as well.

    XP1700+
    512MB PC2100
    PNY GF4 Ti4400
2 7200 RPM IMB Drives (actually one now, because one died on me)
    CDRW
    DVD
    And a LOT of fans.

Disregard the Raidmax I went to their website and it does not even give me technical specifications. Amd does not even list them as an approved vendor I would go with enermax or enlight which are both listed in the AMD website. You can check the specifications for the enlight 420 watts here at the enlight website http://www.enlightcorp.com/ewebsite/index.htm

and for the prices you can go with pagecomputer or computers4sure http://www.computers4sure.com/produc...ductid=1210550 for $48.95 or pagecomputer http://www.pagecomputers.com/cgi-bin/page/B9652703.html
    for $42.95

Thanks. An alternative I've thought about is to buy a chieftec aluminum case to replace my beige beauty, and use the deer 400 watt power supply that come with it. Is deer a good power supply company?

You happen to know that deer is criticize by some but it's actually another company that is approved by AMD look at the specs before you go ahead and buy the product if you can supply the model number you are looking into buying I would like to look at the technical specifications thanks.

Antec's "True" Series is as good as Enermax and quieter:

They also control the speed of up to three case fans. Enermax doesn't do that.

Here's the specs on the deer psu. (see attached picture)
Do you think it's a good enough power supply for my computer? I really like that chieftec case that the PSU comes with.

I think I am - for a guy my age. I've gone by many different names - Sleeper, MrRoboto, Kernel32, TauntOmatiC, Famine, Billy*Badger and now just Badger. The secret, believe it or not, is the machine gun and the gauntlet. Love the gauntlet, baby! On the other end of the scale, the rail is really important. If there's one thing overall, it's brains and ears. I make sure that I have an educated guess as to who's coming and where from.

I ordered the case a few days ago. It was $100 with the 400 watt psu. $57 dollars would be a little cheap for an aluminum chieftec case with a 400 watt power supply, wouldn't it be absalom?
I ordered the red one to go with my various red MSI products.

Bipolar Bill - I'm not a huge Q3 player, but i have some skills.

I play against a friend at my school who's in the m. clan at lans sometimes. His player name is m.gammae, and he's pretty good at CPMA.
