What firewall do you use?
What firewall do you use? I use Tiny Personal Firewall.

I use Zone Alarm from zone labs. You can go to their web site (zonelabs.com) and download a free version. You can also buy a more beefy version Zone Alarm Pro 3.0. I find that the free version does a great job and allows me to control who has access to the computers over the office network as well as the internet. It also allows you to stop programs from accessing the internet without your knowledge.

Sygate has never ever caused a problem for me. And it does the job.
Jak. Tools, options, network neighborhood tab, check both boxes. Works for me.

Zone Alarm Pro, latest version, for all three pcs on our little home net... behind Linksys BEFSR4.1 router/NAT firewall, firmware integrated with ZAPro.

Its already set up like that bushmaster... for the NIC anyways.. and i thought enabling file+print sharing on your internet connection could cause all sorts of bother as regards hackers etc

Was using Zone Alarm Pro which I liked but seemed a bit bulky so now I am using Tiny Personal Firewall and have no complaints.
