    Greece bans all electronic games

I'm not a gamer, but I know plenty of you are. This might interest you. ZDnet UK is reporting that Greece has banned ALL electronic games. Console games, computer games, games on PDAs and phones, ALL of them. Not only things like GTA3, but right down the line to chess and Boggle. The fines incurred for violation of the new law range up to 75,000 Euros. Internet cafes are being allowed to continue business, but if a customer so much as plays chess online, the cafe can be shut down and the owner fined. The Greek gaming community is frantically trying to draw the world's attention to this. Check it out...

Forgot to mention: the ban applies as well to the games that come with Windows. In this respect, the law amounts to a ban on Windows!

Um, all I can say is good luck to them. They may as well ban people from drinking Coke, as well... and that is a useful law, too. **** Coke! I HATE Coke! Drink Pepsi!!!

No, I don't work for either.

I just saw that news report the other day, and couldn't help but laugh to myself.
That same day I saw someone write:
The problem with the world is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
I mean, come on. When we have to start putting warning lables on chainsaws like "Do not stop chain with your hands or genitals" that's trying to tell you something.
Then I hit shanky.com , and read his 9/11 celebratory news post.

That day, was a very strange day.

When you kill one, it is a tragedy. When you kill 10 million, it is a statistic.

for as funny as you might think

    it's real

in the Philliphines, it's illegal to drink pop/soda, so all coke, pepsi, dr.pepper, canada dry, even the Soda Water, are banned, and you get arrested and sent to do years for possetion, or if you drank it, no parole, no courts.

Yet!!, they allow bear and wine and all those Alcoholic stuff

oops typo, should read BEER, lol not yoggi Bear
