From the HP.com IT Resource Forum: The pavilion 7320 uses a intel i430hx chipset, the computer has a 166mhz mmx processor, it is capable of being upgraded to a 200mhz mmx processor according to hp.

Why? Because I had been actually looking for the answer to the same question. (I work with lots of old equipment.)

Since I came across this forum first during my search, (before looking in the most obvious place; I mean, who would have thought HP.com would have relevant info about HP computers? ;o ), I thought maybe someone else might eventually do the same thing. And at least then they'd have the answer right away.

    It's all meta-research anyway!

(And now I only need 4198 more posts to catch up to you.)
