    Scanmaker E3

    I have a ScanMaker E3. It is at least 6 years old but has been fantastic in meeting my 'at home' scanning needs.

    However I have upgraded my computer to a COMPAQ Presario 5310US 5000 series. It runs Windows XP (XP at home) with 256 RAM, 1.2 GHz, 40 GB HD.

    My Scanner requires a card and I do have enough slots for installation.

    However the original software does not seem to work or load on the XP format.

    Is there an update or download available that will permit my Scanmaker E3 to operate on Windows XP?

    if that extra card is a SCSI card, then it is easy to get it to work with WinXP

    SCSI scanners are the best
