What's up with this tax free computer day or something?

I heard on the radio and my wife said she saw on the news that this weekend or one day this week that all computer purchases will be tax free. The President or somebody passed this, dunno. But I have been looking for news about it on the net but haven't seen it anywhere. Anyone got the scoop?

That certain is good news if it is real.

and it'll totally make sense too, with the computer industry moving slower than a snail, As Far As SALEs goes, this can defintely help to boost sales, and save some sorry companies A$$es.

But no, i've heard no such thing over here in the west.
