    Rant time!

You know, I can understand the people who haven't got the courtesy to return and tell us if our tips helped or not. It irritates me, but I can understand it. I've been dealing with that for years and it's part of the "job".

What really irks me in these forums is the people who come here for help only and complain when we don't have an instant fix. Do you think that these same smarta$$es could stick around and help someone else? Noooo....

As sad as it is, many of our "members" seem to think that we owe them something. They take and take and give nothing back except grief. We should have a "taker" flag that we can pin on the people who b*tch about the free support that they do or don't get. I think that I'm gonna start using the vote icons more often. If you see a thumbs-down, you'll know that we have a whiner on our hands.

Darn. Can't I rant without having to stop and thank someone?

    Thanks, Ape0r.

8000 POSTS? Geez... Hey, can someone list the status changes when you get more posts? I notice that I'm a junior member... <obviously>, and some people are senior, ultimate or normal members... how many posts do i need to get to the next level?

I believe that member is 30, you can upload your own avatar at 150, senior member at 500 and ultimate member at 1,000. Evidently after something like 4,000 posts you get to pick your own name string (notice bill has Answerator sometimes).

BipolarBill- I understand exactly whaty you are saying. it is these people that need it fixed in 1 minute and if someone doesnt respond to there post in 5 minutes they reply to it again saying "doesnt anyone know"

Or better yet the double post

However the minute someone does fix there problem, they just leave never to say thanks, or share there new tip with someone else you may have there problem.

They only come back when they have yet another problem, were the they go by the same procedure.

lol ( the rolleseys smily is nice )

( it is 3000 posts were you edit above your name)

I notice thaat out of our many many members quite a number have say only 15 posts to their name despite joining in some cases over 2 years back... that tells you something now dunnit -- they just come for a "quick fix"

ITS ALL TAKE TAKE TAKE -- WHEN ARE YOU GONNA GIVE!!??

...there is an excuse that as new members they may lack the experience to post other than when listing there problems, but surley if they stick around for a while, they will pick things up and their posts should increase ... for eg ive gone up about 1000 posts in the last 3 month, before that i didnt really post very often, although i regularly visited for reading up etc etc...

Well keep up the good work all you real members...
