New Gigabyte Motherboard
Gigabyte has released a 400 DDR board, with 6 PCI slots, 3 Firewire, 6 USB 2.0 ports, onboard lan, Promise Raid 133, and AGP 8x support, according to www.amdmb.com

However, the only video card that I have seen that can support AGP 8x is the SiS 301 based Xabre cards. I have not seen any other manufacturer make an 8x card, though 8x AGP is useless in this day and age.

I guess I am a bit behind of the times heh, oh well 8x is too new to messing with, like any new technology give it time to fix the bugs.

Yes and I just read elsewhere that the VIA KT400 chipset is having bugs supporting DDR400

I just finished reading an article where VIA officially does not support DDR400.
Even thier KT400 chipset's will not support DDR400 memory.
This leaves NForce and SIS as the only chipsets that officially support DDR400 memory.

It'll be interesting to see if AMD makes a press announcement about the rumored 166/333 Athlons. With these new chipsets coming out it seems like the perfect time because then they would be able to roll native support for them into the new Nforce2's and such.
