    bootup?

i just installed a new cpu/motherboard/heatsink combo into a computer.. got it off of pricewatch for nice price

after i hooked up the psu.. i hooked up the power, reset, and led switches

i turn on the system.. the psu turns on, the heatsink/fans turn on but i hear no beeps and the monitor wont go to the bootup screen... it turns to the inactive screen

i thought it might be the psu so i put in a new one.. same problem

i thought could be loose video card.. pushed it in more.. same problem

just tried booting again.. theres no beeps.. motherboard problem?

Read the motherboard manual, you probably forgot to switch a jumper or something. If you don't see anything there then try reseating a few things. Make sure you aren't using any incompatible hardware.
