    SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum EX & Creative PC/DVD Player Question

    Will I need to put the Creative Labs Dxr3 Decoder card back into my newly built computer to watch DVD's if I have the Gainward GeForce 4 Ti4600 and the Soundblaster Audigy Platinum EX sound card?

    Can someone shed some light on this issue??

    I don't think you need a decoder all you need is Power DVD and there you go

    I agree, computers are so fast now that a Software DVD player works fine, you don't need hardware.
