    jeeze that mobo i was looking at was 164 just for that part.

    and thats about what i paid for a tyan trinity kt a and a 1.0ghz t-bird 1 year ago. with 512mb pc133

    Benssax, so far, so good. The sound, video, LAN and (presumably) modem are all on the MoBo, right? Now you need a HD, and CD of some sort (again, presumably) of serious CDRW and/or DVD/CDRom. One assumes you already have an OS and a monitor. So, what does it come in at, dollar-wise, with the necessary peripherals? For that matter, I have a friend who needs a new rig, where are you getting this nice deal?

    This computer is going to be for Big Screen Gaming,
    The TV is monitor
    ATI Radeon 64mb VIVO is video card (already have)
    Also have CD-ROm and Floppy sitting around.





    5 comps are going to be in the house (4 at the moment) for big time Lan games
