Is Anyone Able to Download This?

    http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/R...eleaseID=27333

For two days, I've been trying to get the Diagnostic Tool linked to here:

    Download Now
    Q282784_W2K_SP3_x86_en.EXE - 113 Kb

It keeps giving me an error page.... :/

    OK.

One of those files has got to work!

Yeah, it's weird. I had it in one second with cable...

Yes, it installed fine - so far, so good. Running the QFECHECK.EXE I have some hotfixes to reapply..

<rant> <grrrr...> Just had to reinstall EIGHT Hotfixes! Gee, thanks, MS, for the false sense of security... </rant>

If you're wondering, it's the Microsoft Security Bulletin (MS01-005) Here . If you're running W2K, read their FAQ then run QFECHECK.EXE from CMD line.

Well, all in all, I love W2K ...

    Rat, the previous sentiment stands.

    Hey Socalgal,
I have this problem too sometimes with downloads. Try disabling your firewall first.
I use Zonealarm, and for some reason it blocks some files from download. I turn it off, download fine, then turn it back on.
    It's a b1tc4 sometimes.

    Hey MrEd

hmmm...I don't usually have problems downloading, even MS stuff. But if it happens again, I will. Thanks.
