    my comp just blinks out. !

    when im on my comp. the monitor just blinks and nothing happen.the screen is all blank. but my comp isnt shut down or anything....hmm whatz the problem here.? any one knows?.. pls let me know. thanks

    How long before this happens? Have you tried disabling Standby and Hibernation in in Control Panel > Power Options? Have you disabled monitor and hard drive shut-downs?

    no wonder the power managment. System Standby =on after 15 mins.
    Turn Off Monitor = after 15 mins
    Turn Off Hard disk =after 15mins..

    ok its still doin the blink out wierd ****. i dont know whats wrong with this.

    No...how long does the PC work normally before you lose video? It seems like a video problem.

    PC works normally. but when im on for like 2 hours or more. THe monitor just blink out. And my computer is still on....

    Second thing....i tried goin to RUN. then type SYSEDIT...it suddenly blinks out too. so im suggesting there are 2 problems?..but i dont know if its my VID Card.

    It's either the video card or the AGP bus itself. I would try a PCI video card for awhile.

    hmm PCI vid CArd .. dont know about that..i dont want to spend another vid card...i spend $160 for my abit gf4 ti4200..and i thought it was good.
