Question is: DO I REALLY NEED to install these drivers under win2000.
I remeber having problems with win XP. There was some kind of incompatibility or smth with CD recording software and I even got win XP popup message each time i looged in about some kind of hardware problem (don't remeber exactly what it said). Any way, since then i'm bit afraid installing all the patches etc from hardware manufacturers CD unless something really doesn't work.

SO ... to install or not ti install?
