Actual Processor Speed
A few friends of mine, along with myself have upgraded to AMD Athlon XP 1700+ processors.
On mine, it boots up too fast to actually tell what processor I have in there (I have a 1900) , on two other computers the start screens identify it as a 1500+ processor.
How can i find out what my processor is actually running at to ensure that I actually am getting the benefits of my 1900 AMD processor?
Is there some kind of processor "ping" utility that can tell me this?

Do a bench test to see how it scores amoung other xp1900+'s. Like a FPU/ALU test.

Download WCPUID to see what it is running at. And you may want to run some benchmarking apps to see how it performs.
