cant get past win2k logon screen

I have just installed pc anywhere on my computer (256 mem amd duron 950 20gig hd ) and it required me to reboot when i did this and it rebooted me to the winlogon screen and the error message is that winlogon.exe has encountered problems an error log is being generated.. I have tried restoring from the win2k cd and it does its checking but i havent been able to get past this screen . please help

Did you try pressing F8 and getting into safe mode? Maybe you can uninstall the offending program from there.

tried that im going to reformat my hd thx anyway
