    SCSI parity??

    What does it do?
    Enabled or disabled on HD and CDROM/R?

    If one is enabled all the devices on the chain have to be the same way, or at least they will act like parity is disabled. Parity checks the accuracy of the data transfer (roughly defined) I have always just enabled it and forgot it.
