This is a simple question made tough when you don't know the answer. How can I delete the Network Password sign-on at boot time on a computer that is only connected to the Internet via cable modem? No other network present. Guess what, it currently has a password that nobody knows. W98SE OS.
Open Network Properties and change the Primary Logon to Windows Logon. Search your C:\ drive for *.pwl and delete the file.
Restart, enter new password once. Done.
