    No sound!!!

I have a 693atx motherboard with a built in soundcard. I cant get it to play. I enabled the sound in cmos. I guess I need drivers. Can any one direct me to where I can go and just click "Download Audio drivers for 693atx motherboard "?

Does the OS tell usoemthing is wrong with your audio? Or when u play an audio file it just plays but u dont hear it? Go to control panel/system/device manager and check. Hit "properties" on your audio device. If the OS says there's no problem check the wiring of the speakers (or turn them on)....usually my problem.

This maybe very basic, but have you right click the volume control icon in the system tray and checked if the MUTE is ticked? If so, uncheck it. Furthermore after right clicking, click properties. There are still MUTE boxes there. Uncheck those.
