    CD Rom drive acting strange

When I put a disk in the drive, it reads the disk. Then I put another disk in and the same data comes up as the last disk??? If I put the new disk in the CD burner, it reads the disk OK. The CD Rom drive is old and I don't mind replacing it, but I was just wondering if this could be a problem with something else?

BTW I don't know for sure but it seems like it started doing this around the time I installed XP pro.

That's a system problem - not the drive itself. Try pressing F5 when viewing the contents of the drive folder. That's the same as View > Refresh.
