P4 100fsb-120fsb! Takes my 1.5 to 1.8 and beats a 2.0gig on the raw fpu! Will go to 133mhz when i get a Northwood!

Running at default 133 x 9.0 on T-bird C 1.2.
Can run at 156 x 9.0 mostly stable, but temp goes up to 46C.
I prefer running default with temp < 40C.
Cannot see much difference with a 200 meg.cycle overclock in standard usage.
If I need the speed, I will buy a faster T-bird.

How do you know the is your bottle neck ....I have not been able to push my FSB much over 133 so quite interested to hear from you on how you know it's your RAM.

To Wayne....
Well, I'm assuming that it's my RAM is holding me back. I only have 128MB of generic PC2100, so that could be part of it. Northwoods are great O'clockers, but I know that no two chips OC the same. It's possible that it could be the CPU holding me back, the mobo, or what not. Anyway, earlier today I bought a 256MB stick of Samsung PC2700 so hopefully I'll be able to get my FSB higher. I haven't had time to test it yet, but I'll post the results when I get the chance if you want to know....Oh, out of curiosity, how high did you get your FSB on your setup?

As noted above did get it as high as 145 however now not able to exceed 136 which did run ok however eventually blue screened on me. Became frustrated with the process and converted to Jumper mode thereby now fixed at 133. I may attempt jumperless again with new RAM, contemplating PC2700 (333MHz) which may give me the support I need to push the FSB higher than 136 and remain stable. For the time being though all is working perfectly so doubt I will attempt for awhile.

Hmmm...interesting. You had it as high as 145? Backed it down to 133 and it's stable? Not bad....I'd be happy just to get it to even get it to 133. Hopefully I'll be able to. If you don't mind me asking, what are you system specs?
