I just got me a new computer, and i've been playin about with the BIOS settings. I read about Fast Writes, and that it allows the CPU to write directly to the Graphics card, thereby making things faster.

However, by enabling it, my 3DMark2001 score went DOWN by about 400?? Why is that?

I have a GF4Ti4600, XP1800, MSI K3T Ultra ARU, 256MB 333mhz DDR RAM.
