    Your opinions on this PC...

    Hello, my first post here.

    First of all, has anyone heard the GOOD and/or the BAD on www.cyberpowerinc.com, a So Cal PC Builder. I'm thinking about;
CyberTec AMD Full Tower Case @ 375 watt
    Athlon XP 1800
    Gigabyte Via KT333 7VRXP 4x AGP MB w/LAN, UDMA 133 RAID & USB
    512MB PC2700 DDR PC333 Memory
AMD Certified CPU Fan, Heatsink & 3 extra Case Fans
    40GB 7200 rpm ATA 133 HD
    nVIDIA GeForce3 Ti200 64MB DDR w/TV Out
    16X DVD ROM
    24X10X40 CD-RW
Creative Labs SB Audigy X-Gamer 5.1
3 COM US Robotics V.90 WinModem
    1.44 MB Floppy
PCI 32 Bit 10/100 Network Card
    MS Internet Keyboard
    MS Intelli Mouse w/Wheel
    XP Home Edition
    Norton 2002 AntiVirus

Thanks for any and all comments. I mostly do Driving Sims, DTRSC & NR 2002, but will be doing other type Sims now.

What's not to like? Other than the lack of a brand name on the HDD, it looks sweet.

    Looks great!

Other than the fact that I would take a nice joystick over a wheel. But hey thats me plus I dont have enough desk space for a wheel.

Should be a very nice performing system.

(happy to see you went with AMD)

gibsinep........that's a Microsoft wheel MOUSE, but I did get Microsoft's Force Feedback Wheel too. Been using a non FF Thrustmaster wheel on the current PII 266, 128 MB Ram, 4 GB HD PC and didn't have very much Eye Candy turned on with NASCAR 3 and DTRSC. Can't wait to check this PC out.

Is there a site that has Reviews/Comments/History/Feedback on the various PC builders, like cyberpowerinc.com?

thats a pretty sweet system to have. the tech world over the laast two years has boomed. That system will run anything and evrything. considering they sent a man to the moon on a 486DX25. Imagine what your can do

That looks like a great system. All solid specs. As to the HD, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a Maxtor.

Thanks for the comments Folks. I've got 3 years experience with PC's and have been reading various Forums and getting info for the day I order a new PC. I'm going to be getting it set up this weekend and will get back Monday and let you know how it is.

Lack of brand name on the memory and 3 case fans? Shizzle that'll be loud. I have GPU, CPU and PSU fans. Then again my load temp is 58C . Can't wait for that Epox 8K3A to arrive and ditch this ****ty ASUS A7A266 .

Shinta, $1256.00. Just got it out of the box and MAN, there's alot of connections on the back of this thing!!!I'll have to call cyberpowerinc.com and find out what they're for. I've got a printer, monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers.....there'll be a few connections left open after connecting them. This is a new World for me. Had a 4 year old COMPAQ flat CPU system and there weren't any connections on the back of it that were left open after connecting everything I LOVE it though............goin where I've never been before
