    How to tweak Geforce3 ti200

I get about 6150 with 3DMark2001se with my current setup, which appears to be below what most people get with my system specs. What kinds of things can I do to safely--not making major, stability-degrading changes--tweak some more speed out of my 3D graphics?

    Athlon 1.33@1.43
    256MB PC133
    Gainward Geforce3 ti200 (Detonator 23.11)

    Thanks.

Without overclocking that score is about perfect for your system.

That score isnt to low at all.

You can try different driver versions.

    Overclock it.

Those scores are "right" for your system. One thing to keep in mind when looking through Mad Onion's database, that many of the guys get those scores by pushing their system for ONE run. They shoot high with high frontside buses, high memory speeds, high clock multipliers (I'm overgeneralizing here) then scale back until they get one complete run for a 3dMark score. Once they get a successful run, they post it, then set their systems back to a more stable configuration. I leave my system overclocked 24/7 and stable.

Like gibsinep mentioned already, you may want to experiment with different driver versions. I like the 23.11 drivers, but apparently, many enthusiasts lost a few marks when they went from 21.83 to 23.11. The last official Nvidia drivers are at 28.32 though these didn't do anything for me.

If you haven't tried already, use the coolbits registry hack. You can do a google search for 'coolbits registry hack'. I got my Leadtek GeForce3 Ti200 to 220/500 using this hack.

I got a PNY Geforce Ti200.Before I overclocked mine I got 6674. Now with mine at 220/500 and the new 28.80's I got 8314! Hoping to go more when I overclock my CPU and get new heastsinks for my video memory so I can to a little bit higher with it. Hoping to get about 260/560.

As for the drivers you can get them on Nvidias website. The 28.80's I am running are beta's, I ran the 23.11 and the 28.32s and they both worked fine

That's a good score. You can get another 500+ points by oc the cpu and video card. Try oc the cpu to 1400Mhz and the video card to 220/450Mhz and see what happens.
