Your score is good for a GF2MX200 on your system unfortunatly you wont be able to make it go much faster as the MX200 is servearly restricted on the memory bandwidth side of things, sorry m8

Your performance will improve if you upgrade your CPU.

But, Still your video card will hold you way back.

If you just upgrade your video card than your CPU wont be able to fully take adavantage of it.

So a good upgrade would be new motherbaord, cpu, and video card.

Your score is about right for you system.

    I've the same Video card (Geforce 2 MX200), I'm running a Pentium 3 800MHz(100 FSB) with 256Mb ram.

My score is about 1440 does this sound about right or could it be better.

    Many thanks,

thats pretty good for a Geforce 2 mx 200 you get 24 fps ..not bad
    I only get 17 fps.

Its the card itself that sucks..!! even the TNT2 outperforms the mx200..

Well, I don't remember the particular numbers (fps) for each scene in 3dMark2001SE for my third computer, but my Pentium II 350 scores 1050s at stock a 150core/150mem for my ATI Radeon 7200. I originally tried running the benchmark on the old ATI 3D Rage (8MB) and hah, I knew it wouldn't even get a score. Next thing I'll try to do is overclock the 7200 using Radeon Tweaker from Rage3D's website. But what a difference a newer video card w/ gpu can make for an aging system.
