Where can i find the cheapest cpu?
Ok i have a FIC PA-2005. I know it is a socket 7 and i can't handle more than 450 MHZ. Well where is the cheapest website to find it CPU's (other than any auctions)? I've tryied tigerdirect and pricewatch. Help if u can....
Sure you checked all of Tigerdirect? I found THIS processor there. I don't know how well the K6-2 processors perform, but I had a K6-3 400 that was great.

Soltek 75DRV5 KT333
Gainward Golden Sample Geforce 3 Ti200
Hercules Game Theater XP 6.1
Seagate 80GB 7200RPM
Chieftec Server tower DX-01SLD with full side window and fan

I would recommend www.edgemicro.com, the best one I saw there was a 533Mhz Socket 7 AMD K6-2 for $35.00.

Before buying from edgemicro.com, check them at resellerratings.com[URL=http://www.resellerratings.com].
Read the comments too.
I suppose your only option would be www.ebay.com, maybe you'll find what your looking for there.
I like Krex and Fry's Outpost . Fry's has some nice mobo/cpu combo's for sale too.
i'd definitely try pricewatch, and i also like to use www.pricegrabber.com
also try either www.computersurplusoutlet.com or www.spartantech.com
i've bought from both of them and were happy with the results
i always look up prices at www.pricewatch.com
