The PR rating that AMD used only applied to the Athlon XP cpu which had several cores namely: Palomino, Tbred A (short for Thoroughbred), Tbred B and the Barton.

So its not specific to either one...

If your main concern is the score then u might as well not even run the benchmark.

Look on the web for 3dmark2001 scores then copy the image and edit it with Paintshop pro or any other image...

I have tried both cpu/s in a different board the A7V8X which is a DDR400 board. Each cpu ran in excess of 2300 mhz not PR(performance rating) the PR is rated at more than a XP 3000+.

ok, Video card worked in my K7SEM and the cpu also works.
Mobo fried and a 512 stick of Samsung DDR400 is fried.
I will contact the manufacturer of the board but the ram is pretty much my fault....

The thing is the memory is the one that smelled funny(like burnt) but the mobo appears fine, I did try clearing cmos.
