drivers can make a big difference. you can try optimizing the forceware/catalysts or using beta/modded drivers.
Using beta drivers is a necessity for getting high bench scores on an nvidia...

But I am. Keep it on topic.

I'm running a PNY 6800GT with EVGA copper heatsink.

237 FSB is not that much. There are guys going way over 250. Some are closer to 300.
You need really good ram AND you'll probably need to increase the core voltage.
OCing the CPU doesn't do...

Tightening ram timings helped a little bit.

Here's my latest with the XG 75.90A drivers.
There is an idle temp issue. I had to set the 2d at 401 for core. Other specs are on the pic.
Gotta run to the gym. 3dm05 later tonite.

yep. drivers make a big difference. unfortunately, the only approved drivers are the 66.93s. anything we do with other drivers is just for fun. :t

yes, lowering the resolution will give you a higher score. I always take the default settings for 3dmark (1024x768). I guess I won't beat my head into a wall trying to figure out what is going on....

The 71.24A VXGs didn't make a difference for me. hmmm. oh well. It could be heat throttling, so I'll try lower core speeds later. Too sleepy right now. In any case, good job, CC. :) I'm still...
