Why can´t i connect to localhost web server using any web browser???

Some times i get "HTTP 403 - forbidden access" or "HTTP 401 - Logon failed", instead.

I´ve got a frameset with 2 pages on it.
First one lists a set of files, each one should be accesed through a mouse click ... so far so good ...
But only can be accesed those that had been...

I used loadlin cuz old lilo i have (21-4 i guess) mess up things in master boot records even to refuse sys opt beyond 1024 cyl ... (xp boot loader don´t) And besides it doesn´t really cost to much to...

A lot of troubles with installed modules ... even those who never wanted to be installed in the first place! jaja. Dmesg -> "unresolved symbols ..."
Tried to reinstall kernel sources, modules, etc....

I know that alien is not meant to convert critical packages as kernels ones, but i had no opt. Will it be really working all the way???
Any comment?

I got working a "new" kernel packed in rpm format under

debian! Great! First i converted it using alien
(alien kernel-2.2.14-2.rpm -d)
... then i installed and seems to be working....

Why not? Is it forbbiden? :D I know you´re a moderator or smthng. It seems to me that my remarks are not useless .... otherwise make me know.

Actually lilo still can´t boot .... i put linux ext2 partition under 1024 cyl. boundary ... and it works ... even with Loadlin (great!).

I had a related problem like the one you describe.

I just can´t use the older sessions in a CD under XP, but i can in W98! In

fact i can´t even see them in XP ... just with Nero.

In W98 SE...
