4250 on 2003 with my 64mb radeon 9500 non pro. Not too bad - no checkerboarding which is nice. Not far behind the 9700 non pro i have downstairs.

Or even better source a 9500 non-pro 128mb, with a red pcb and L shaped ram.... and voila, in about 3 mod steps u have a 9700 pro :D

on a budget get a 9700 non pro if you can get hold of one as they can clock to 9700 pro speeds.... if you have the mmoney get the 9700 pro as these can be overclocked like a true beast....

try taking it up further, you should be able to get 370-380 out of the core and 325+ on the mem without any trouble. Look for scores in 2003 of 5500+.

nameless you have the same motherboard as me - get overclocking!!! i've pumped mine up to 3.3ghz which also means I have the benefit of 1100mhz fsb. your 3dmark bottleneck as the older nvidia...
