I have a VOLCANO 7+ and had the same results as you...the Intel cools just as good. It might be better than the older model Intel heatsinks, but not this one. Kind of pissed me off...just knowing...

I know...thats whats so screwed up about the sharky test, because it's pretty clear Sharky left a lot of detailed testing out that would take some shine away from the XP.

All I have to say is $165.00 Intel 2.0a GHz = 2.8 GHz
You won't do that without an XP 2400 or better...( can you even get those? ) if so....it's slightly more than the cost of the Intel.

Hmmm...after my friend cracked a XP 1800, I spent $165 on a 2.0a GHz and have been running fine at 2.8GHz since...and I haven't seen ANY AMD that will touch it.
Oh, and I doubt that I will 'crack'...
