    Media player will not play mpg files

    Windows Media Player 9 will not play mpg videos. It plays every other type of video. I upgraded to version 10 but it will still not play mpg files.

    CHKDSK starts every time I boot XP

    CHKDSK starts every time I boot into XP PRO. It always scans D drive, despite windows being shut down properly.
