Nokia software is notoriously buggy. It often is very difficult to get it to work properly. If your USB ports work with other devices they are not the root of the problem.

Peter, could you please expand on that a bit? How would a keyboard support/not support USB itself? What is an "active" USB-PS2/controller?

You might try using an external CDROM drive via USB. That's saved me several times on laptops with bad optical drives.

On the alt-spacebar menu, simply type M to choose 'move.' (I don't think you have a resolution issue per BruceB, but I'm at a Vista machine right now and cannot check the Custom DPI -200% setting.)

Perhaps I am not understanding the issue correctly, but have you tried simply moving the pages up (i.e., press alt-spacebar, then M, then use arrow keys to move window where you want)?
