IE will not be as bad if you have ActiveX restricted. I run it primarily because the response is snappier with it, and is not as CPU hungry.

Oh, my instructor pronounced it guh-nome. But anyway I gotta debate this from what I learned from wikipedia.
What makes me think the pronounciation is like genome is one clue.
