HI .. I have been using IE 6.0 and have never had aproblem. Maybe you had a bad install. try uninstalling it and doing it over. Also, what OS are you using? I know someone who had problems with IE6...

Depending on the brand of HD, you should be able to get a "bootstrap" program. I know Maxtron has one that you can download off it's web site. As mentioned, this program helps older computers...

Ok ... The formatting part worked great (thanx again).. I hooked it up to the other PC and formatted in FAT32 (installing 98). I put it back in the old Pc and put in the 98 disk got it installed...

If all else fails ... use your system restore. go back to the day before you changed those settings. you can try changing them again after that. i would suggest maybe changing one thing at a time so...

there are 2 free players theat I know of but I've never used them so this is a use at your own risk kinda deal. They are Zoom Player 2.5 And Maximus DVD 1.2 . both are available at downloads.com ....

I downloaded the TECHWORM boot disk from bootdisk.com and tried that but I still get the invalid system disk message. Any other ideas? :confused:
