so ive been out of the computer scene for awhile. Im still on my p4 nortwood 1.8 oc to 2.4 and im desperately need of an upgrade. Believe it or not my computer is already pushing 6yeras old!!!! haah...

Currently using FAT 32 on my windows xp pro. any doubts? should of i have used NTFS? i chose FAt 32 cuz i herd it was stable and easier to maintain, which is better performance wise.. and if so...

but i cant acheive my fastest timmings.

OC my ram pc2100 (266Mhz) to (352Mhz) and my current timing settings are 2.5-3-3-7 2CMD. when i try to set it at 2.0-2-2-5 1CMD it crashes or i get BSOD. Do i need to increase voltage?

yes thats the thing i dont kno much about the memmory. what is the memmory frequency for, how do i find the right timmings. :eek:

When i raised my fsb 141/35 . i kno it increases the pci and agb speed too. If i enable asynchronous on then rather having synchronous on would that lock my pci and agp so that in reality it would...

so might as well cancel my order of my hs+fan and the artic silver. I guess i can just OC to a 2.2 and i should be stable. and have no problems? i just want a bit more processing speed.

I bumped my fsb to 141/35... and no voltage increase on my system because it has never hanged or crashed. so i guess i dont need to increase voltage. Like i said i am using 512 mb of ddr ram.. pc...
