you might try puttin in a partion magic floppy - and trying to see if the drive get recognized - if so - try a boot disk and type 'fdisk /mbr' and see if you can trick it to run.

bios check - run sisoft sandra and see if it comes back with any problems - mine box told me of problems with the bios but never surfaced until it would not boot - wiz
